Weekend millionaire Mindset

AH!!! is me again... Mr Wangster here!

I've juz came acrossed this amazing book juz 2 days ago, the title is the title is wrote. The amazing part was not how to be rich but is actually the mindset that you should have. Now everyday in the morning I will start off will 3 Ds!

I will tell myself... Determination!! Desire!! Discipline!!

This is some of the eye catching words. To desire is to set a goal and not defer from it, determination is to follow your goal and even the closest ppl might disagree you will still follow and lastly Discipline, to only do the right things that will lead you to your goal.

I have not really been reading all these times but this book showed me somethings! Suddenly i would want to read more... Everyday i will want to at least read abt an hour. (usually when I go out camp to do some offical work, i would juz slp thru. but the last 2 days i read all the way, how much time have i saved!! I'm truely amazed!!!!!) I completed 200 pages thru out the journey...

This made me realised how much time i have wasted. And goal setting is really important! So make goals! The author made a goal.. earn his first million at age 30 and retire at age 50. This was his goal, with the 3 Ds in mind he got his first million at age 28.

Take care... will continue some other day. the computer room is closing!

Loves ya!

Away & Dearly Missed.. Wangster*

Posted appreciatively by Jams*
What time is it?! Its eat snake time!!
Hwahahaa...
Time to fulfill my promise during working hours.. nice opportunity :) hehe.. cos my ever-notoriously-famous boss - Jacqueline Koh - is working from home today! Lol. And this gives me the autonomy and luxury to fulfill my job scope to the minimum this day. Heh heh, pls lar! I know lar, its abit bad karma la! But then I now really quite no mood to work.. I already prepared myself to stay back abit later today to finish up my work and to repay the eat-snake hours okkk?? I will still fulfill my responsibility and complete all my work okay. Then like not not so bad karma already correct? :p
Well well, let's not digresss too far away. The snake has been cooked, and let us all enjoy it together~
This post is specially dedicated to our beloved favourite Wangster in the house! In case you forgot how he looks like, here is a photo of which we both took together when I visited Bangkok a month back ;) So nice hor!

[ Self-taken shot ] I knew whoever who held the camera would inevitably end up with an ugly angle..

So I forced Wangs to hold the cam :p

Well, being the self-sacrificial gentleman he always has been,
he was most willing to be not shuai for once..
Hehe. Thanks! Appreciate it lots! :)
Well, that day at the centre when Wangs returned, it felt really quite different.. everyone was livlier, more jokes more laughter, but the true difference lies in the role that Wangs played in our little group of bliss. (Yaa yaa, I know that everyone is a little happier becos Wangs is back, thats why the atmosphere was livelier and funner :p Pls lar. I know ok. U think I retarded right.) :/
I just wanna say that all of us are so used to one another, that sometimes, maybe we forget how to appreciate each other. (Haha. Actually I wrote this only becos it looks nice and will make my blog entry sound emotionally meaningful. Wahhaaa..). In actual fact, I think everyone of us are quite feeling people.. like, we are people who will stop to think about others, and all their good and positive points.
We all know that Wangster is a very kind and good-natured boy at heart, but somehow seemed to portray a lack of confidence in himself - back then. :) This trip he came back, I think most of us saw the change in him (confirmed after some casual discussion), which was most positive:
He was so sleepy but ever sounding so enthusiastic, he was so tired but still came up with various ideas and opinions to do things (ie. okay, i know it was just an activity of packing blessed snacks and fruits, but still! Effort shows okay!!). :) Not that he didnt used to have a mind of his own, he did, he still has!, but this time, the feeling is more spontaneous and natural.
I think Wangs, YOU have grown.
In case Wangs is reading this, and is feeling quite pressurised cos it seems all of a sudden, people are raising expectations of him now that we think he has 'changed for the better'.. haha. Please dont be stressed lar! Come on''' we all know each other how long already.. :p know until lan already can. Lol. Just be yourself, we will always be happy for u.. if nothing to be happy, then like that lorrr.. then nothing, everything remains as status quo. Wahaha.. (Hais. I think I am quite crap man. -.-)
Anyway! U noe that day, 4 of us were in the kitchen: Wangs, Wei, Ivan and myself, and we were just about to dig into the chengteng - which I dun even remember who bought for us. Lol. Then just as we were happily slurpping, Wangs disappeared.. I was like thinking to myself, "wad the heck is he doing huh".. Lol. Then, ta-dah! He returned to the kitchen, bringing the rest (Pearl, Ennjoa & Chea) back to enjoy the chengteng together! It was so heartwarming and sweet.. Cos in the end, that whole group conversation that night was really nice and everyone was freely contributing their own opinions, very at ease, very spontaneous!
If not for Wangs, who was so 'wu-xim' to get the others back to enjoy altogether, there would be less unity amongst us.
I think my point here is not only to express my appreciation for Wangs, but also, is a reminder that such small actions are actually significant in keeping a group alive.
So, watch for each other and take care of one another.. and we can still be together happily slurrping chengteng sweetly, 30 yrs down the road... ... :)
Ps. Wah. I wrote my blog entry at the start of the day before lunch, and now its 6.59pm already. Faints* lol. Okie, i'll get back to work.
Pps. Am going to monastery with my mum tomorrow night, ciaos! Heh heh.. my favourite little Tenzin Kunkhen Rinpoche, here I come! (Dont be jealous hor''' bad karma okay! Lol..) Alriteys, will hope to update my blog entries again when I return next Friday!

Alarm System Rinnnnging!!

brandy posting the first blog in her life --

im actually quite shock to see how fast this blog is progressing since the last time i saw it.. hmmm, that should be about 3 weeks ago. I actually enjoy reading all of your entries..esp those with pictures, and i can't wait to see ting's baby! Sound so cute...!

To wangster -
Thanks for loving DPL so much...even though none of us send you off at the airport (muahaha..), paiseh..and paiseh again for not being able to meet my mum - the canon scanner. She'll be going up to india the coming week, will ask her to request lati rinpoche to pray for you, so no worries!! ;p

Time really flies for yr 2006, so fast..like a rocket. And the fireworks from the national day rehearsal were the ones which reminded me that we're approaching August, so maddness! ya, 2006 is a busy year for me, and i know that the 2nd half will be twice as tough as the 1st, cos we got many more shows, and they are all back to back...sigh... sometimes i feel that im like a frog in the well, i really dunno what is happening out there..and only aware of things that are around me.

Sigh..but somehow i still like my job, i like what im doing, i like the colleagues, and sometimes i dun mind being busy.

Im happy that we have this blog to keep each other updated, and sometimes even thru gmail. Pls just rmb that even though if i did not post any blog or comments...that doesnt mean that im not reading your entries yah!!

okieeee...see u guys again the next time!! byesssss.....!!

Sold to hq link? what an ugly pic, i look like a monkey.

Brandy off to bed ~

Away & Dearly Missed.. Tingles*

Posted sentimentally by Jams*

Lol. I am in the centre now, with my hair dripping with water, and I feel like a Sadoko who climbed up the well, as I type these now... Aiyaa, cos I forgot to bring towel although I know I'm gonna stay maa.. then I see this batch of monks like abit not thatttt familiar, so I decided to just go ahead and bathe and air-dry myself without a towel.

Won't die right! Air-dry better than go mafan the monks dig out a towel for me.. somemore I figured I will make the towel go to waste if I did asked for one. Lol. Always the case lar.. in the end, the towel always acts like a disposable towel.. use one time and somehow it disappears in the centre. Its just so taken for granted.. Whhey, don't u guys get this feeling whenever we ask for a new towel in DPL?? I'm not the only one right.?!

Anyway just in case people are dying of curiousity which batch of monks are these who appears to be so distant from the evercutest Jlooi, they are:

  • Sangcho Rinpoche, my favourite!!
  • Lobsang Tendar
  • Lobsang Nyima (the tall one in love with Weiwei)
  • Tsering Norbu
  • Lobsang Yeshi (new monk approx >40 yrs old?)

Haha abit cek ark hor.. say that they are not tthatt familiar.. LOL. Actually 4 out of the 5 are so familiar already. Aiyyyarr its just that they belong to the not-so-fun category lar u noe?! Think: Thopden, Tenzin Yeshe, Palden, Namgyal (the one just left). These belong to the fun and happening category, lol. This current batch on like all quite old and quite serious one.. I think the most jovial of them all is Sangcho Rinpoche already. Lol. Cek ark hor. But lucky I am quite noble one, to sacrifice myself for the benefit of your minutes of entertainment.. I hope it is worth it. Wahhaa. Aiya, anyway my point is: So abit paisay to ask them for a towel sial!! What if they find me a nuisance -.-'' Nvm lar.. Air-dry then air-dry lar :/

Anywayyy, basically my motive of camping here overnight is to finish up ''In the Loop of Bliss'' July issue, cos Geshela's (Geshe Lobsang Choephel - from Dharamsala, famous for catching spirits and dispelling black magic. Great case study currently in progress: Ah Tiong.) confirmed to arrive quite soon and I need to write our newsletters! But haha. Obviously I am not doing it now. Tired leys! 12:57am already leh. I think I will do good with some sleep first, tomorrow wake up then start to do. Lol. Jialat ley, nowadays I think I am possessed by Ting, cos I feel so tired all the time. Lol.. Tingles, I bet you are totally shagged. Hahaa..

Anyway. I am realllllllly happy to write again!!! Wahahahhawahahhahaa HoORaY!! So long never blog, really paisay sial. Lol, but anyway, still much better than some people. Never blog and never paisay. Lol. Ownself know who is it la okkk.. Dun need me to say... Anyway people who only blog once also pls don't act like blog ONCE then great liao lorrr.. Some people taking O' Levels also can blog more than all of us laaa.

Wahahha. Yay. Sabotage successful, and successfully act like I am a super-active blogger. Lol. Lemme count how many Bodhisattvas I have offended.. 1, 2, 3, hmm.. ok, 3 Bodhisattvas :). But they sure won't angry one. Cos their practice damn good ma. Lol.

Aiyarrr.. ok lar. I am getting tired and sleepy man. Hahaa. how ironic, getting bored from my own crap. Lol.

This blog entry tonight is actually specially dedicated to our away-but-deeply-missed friends, Tingles and Wangster :) *act like so sweet* awwww.... woohoo!!

First to Tingles, my most happy congratulations! for the birth of such a little cutie baby boy Russell. He's really such a sweet little cute thing! Becoming alot more and more handsome as the days go by, cos his features start getting to be more defined. Woooh! What proud parents you and Jordan are I bet. So good looking right the latest photos you posted! hee. Good karma baby lar, think wad?! Don't play play arrr.. born on Tibetan Vesak Day you know! Vesak Day is Buddha's birth, enlightenment and nirvana day you know! Think wad?!?!!! So holy and so super auspicious siall!!! So, congratulations leh Tings!!!

And just now today, we have received your many many boxes of cakes, ang-gu-kuehs, and auspicious red eggs.. wOaH! Its like, so many thousand boxes!! U think we wad sial! All hippos and rhinos right?! Order so many boxes! How to finish?!! Wahaha.. Ok lar. I didnt count, but I think there are approx. 10 Bengawan Solo boxes I saw. Its alot lor. Lol. THANK YOUs!! So nice of u, to remember to share your joy with us on your special occasion. Anyway I really showed alot of support okie.. cos I happy.. haha, I ate 4 or 5 eggs. Love red eggs man, really love them! Haha. I know red eggs tastes the same as normal hard-boiled eggs, but wad to do, red color really turns me on. Waahhaaa.. by the way, don't worry, I didn't eat all the egg yolks, won't die of cholestoral lar. Aiyaa.. getting hungry as I type, later blog finish will go eat more of the eggs. Yummys* :)

Oh yeah by the way, today is Sat so we have our weekly Sat DPL puja, and today is: White Dzambala Wealth-Inviting Puja! Heh hehe, I dunno who thought of the brilliant idea, but I saw that we shared the Russell cakes and goodies and joy with all the puja participants. It was cut out nicely and 4 boxes were laid put together with where the bags of blessed fruits were placed for people to bring home :)..

So sweet hor DPL. Lol, cos I hear the members exclaiming, "Woah! Red eggs! Who's baby?!!" and they happily help themselves to a piece of the very-delicious banana cake. Haha. So nice.. to share the joy with people who may not even know u. Its such a gracious thought la I think, and well, I so think baby Russell has planted a good little seed for himself with White Dzambala deity. Hehe. Next time will grow up to be rich, powerful and most of all, with a compassionate heart!! Cos White Dzambala is wealth deity (rich), and is a protector as well (powerful), and he is an emanation of Chenrezig (compassionate) as well!! Haha.. how auspicious.. Cheers to the birth of a new Russell the Great! :D

...

... and ... as I so wish to continue to write... the next portion is dedicated to Wangster... but really buay tong lar.. i super sleepy sialll. So sorry hor Wang.. not I bo xim okie.. is really buay tong! sorree sorree.. ;/

I promise, I write tomorrow k. :) I know you sure won't angry one. Tee hee hee. Good nights everyone.. its 2:03am already. My hair also completely dry already sial.. *snores*

So Singapore!

Wangster starting....

It was really a truely enjoyable trip back to Singapore but everyday was like so over worked! There wasn't a morning and neither was there a night...

Seeing familiar faces seemed ever so comforting, especially when i was in center. Everyone knows everyone... but some how it was the same as before, there were like less talking and gossips!! kekeke! Centre is really my second home, every part of it seems to be a memory of us. It is a part of us!!! Since the day DPL started, we were all there... SO! our closeness and togetherness should be strengthen with every passing day and should never be doubted!

Until the minute that i left Sinapore, I din really want to leave anymore... I wanted to stay! When i was going to depart, my family, my godma and cousins came to see me off... SO TOUCHED!

The Singapore
My Chan Family
beloved DPL and friends
Things that i hold dear to myself!

everyone pls hold on to each other, ideas might defer but heart will never

Finally, an update!

LilMrSt here!

Hiya! It's been so long since my last entry! Sorry guys for the long inactive period. My huge chuck of time is now taken by that little friend. If it's not feeding, it's carrying him while he is sleeping. He doesn't like to be put down on his own bed. He will make lotsa grunting noises and move around. Haha ...

Baby Russell has got quite a temper lor! He likes to kick when he is not happy. A lot of times he was not happy with his feeding position and he would kick me and make 'Urgh' noise. Luckily, his crying is like cat meowing ... meow ... meow ... But if his meow is ignored for a few minutes then it will turn into lion's roar ... GRRRAAOOOOO .... Even neighbour also can hear ....

Nevertheless, he is a very cute boy. He will smile everytime he is full after feeding and after he farts ... Yes, after he farts! So cute ... Before he farts or poos, he will make pouty lips like sotong then smile after business done ... Haha ...

Well, that's about Baby Russell now. He is 4.9 kg and 54.5 cm! Huge baby! No wonder I got difficulty in carrying him ... lol ...

Here are some photos of him for all of u to enjoy!

I miss u all guys!
