What time is it?! Its eat snake time!!
Hwahahaa...
Time to fulfill my promise during working hours.. nice opportunity :) hehe.. cos my ever-notoriously-famous boss - Jacqueline Koh - is working from home today! Lol. And this gives me the autonomy and luxury to fulfill my job scope to the minimum this day. Heh heh, pls lar! I know lar, its abit bad karma la! But then I now really quite no mood to work.. I already prepared myself to stay back abit later today to finish up my work and to repay the eat-snake hours okkk?? I will still fulfill my responsibility and complete all my work okay. Then like not not so bad karma already correct? :p
Well well, let's not digresss too far away. The snake has been cooked, and let us all enjoy it together~
This post is specially dedicated to our beloved favourite Wangster in the house! In case you forgot how he looks like, here is a photo of which we both took together when I visited Bangkok a month back ;) So nice hor!
[ Self-taken shot ] I knew whoever who held the camera would inevitably end up with an ugly angle..
So I forced Wangs to hold the cam :p
Well, being the self-sacrificial gentleman he always has been,
he was most willing to be not shuai for once..
Hehe. Thanks! Appreciate it lots! :)
Well, that day at the centre when Wangs returned, it felt really quite different.. everyone was livlier, more jokes more laughter, but the true difference lies in the role that Wangs played in our little group of bliss. (Yaa yaa, I know that everyone is a little happier becos Wangs is back, thats why the atmosphere was livelier and funner :p Pls lar. I know ok. U think I retarded right.) :/
I just wanna say that all of us are so used to one another, that sometimes, maybe we forget how to appreciate each other. (Haha. Actually I wrote this only becos it looks nice and will make my blog entry sound emotionally meaningful. Wahhaaa..). In actual fact, I think everyone of us are quite feeling people.. like, we are people who will stop to think about others, and all their good and positive points.
We all know that Wangster is a very kind and good-natured boy at heart, but somehow seemed to portray a lack of confidence in himself - back then. :) This trip he came back, I think most of us saw the change in him (confirmed after some casual discussion), which was most positive:
He was so sleepy but ever sounding so enthusiastic, he was so tired but still came up with various ideas and opinions to do things (ie. okay, i know it was just an activity of packing blessed snacks and fruits, but still! Effort shows okay!!). :) Not that he didnt used to have a mind of his own, he did, he still has!, but this time, the feeling is more spontaneous and natural.
I think Wangs, YOU have grown.
In case Wangs is reading this, and is feeling quite pressurised cos it seems all of a sudden, people are raising expectations of him now that we think he has 'changed for the better'.. haha. Please dont be stressed lar! Come on''' we all know each other how long already.. :p know until lan already can. Lol. Just be yourself, we will always be happy for u.. if nothing to be happy, then like that lorrr.. then nothing, everything remains as status quo. Wahaha.. (Hais. I think I am quite crap man. -.-)
Anyway! U noe that day, 4 of us were in the kitchen: Wangs, Wei, Ivan and myself, and we were just about to dig into the chengteng - which I dun even remember who bought for us. Lol. Then just as we were happily slurpping, Wangs disappeared.. I was like thinking to myself, "wad the heck is he doing huh".. Lol. Then, ta-dah! He returned to the kitchen, bringing the rest (Pearl, Ennjoa & Chea) back to enjoy the chengteng together! It was so heartwarming and sweet.. Cos in the end, that whole group conversation that night was really nice and everyone was freely contributing their own opinions, very at ease, very spontaneous!
If not for Wangs, who was so 'wu-xim' to get the others back to enjoy altogether, there would be less unity amongst us.
I think my point here is not only to express my appreciation for Wangs, but also, is a reminder that such small actions are actually significant in keeping a group alive.
So, watch for each other and take care of one another.. and we can still be together happily slurrping chengteng sweetly, 30 yrs down the road... ... :)
Ps. Wah. I wrote my blog entry at the start of the day before lunch, and now its 6.59pm already. Faints* lol. Okie, i'll get back to work.
Pps. Am going to monastery with my mum tomorrow night, ciaos! Heh heh.. my favourite little Tenzin Kunkhen Rinpoche, here I come! (Dont be jealous hor''' bad karma okay! Lol..) Alriteys, will hope to update my blog entries again when I return next Friday!
